Competition results: I have been riding in the national team since I was 12 years old. i started Grand Prix as a junior rider and competed U-25 Grand Prix in Aachen 2011 and 2012. I was 2nd and 3rd at the WC-final for YR 2011. I won the SC-Gold as a YR 2012.
Goal: To never stop developing! I want to continue to be part of the best young riders in the world and in the long-term be part of the senior world elite. My goal is to be able to educate young horses to Grand Prix and to be a recognized name within the sport both as a rider and as a trainer.
Driving force: There is always room for improvement, to become better than most! ”Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you will land among the stars”
Strength & weakness as a rider: I am stubborn, is strong physically and never give up! That can even become a disadvantage…
Trains for: First and foremost Jan Brink that helps me wit the training both at home and at competitions. I have had the opportunity to train for Kyra a number of times and that just makes you want to strive after more training. My wish is to stay for a longer period in England to take part of her knowledge and experience. She is an amazing person and trainer, quite simply a genius!! Some times I have even trained for Hubertus Schmidt in Germany.
What Knytkalaset gives to me: I have been part of the Plantskola since it started and has even had the opportunity to be part of some Knytkalas training sessions. I see the Plantskola as a great opportunity to administer and develop promising and successful young riders with a strong will and driving force. It is veyr inspiring and rewarding to meet other riders with the same driving force and above all very useful to see that all riders have both ups and downs. It creates a good team spirit and gives you the possibility to share experience and enhance the social relations in combination with world class training.
Both Kyra and Jan are great role models to me in my development both as a rider and as a trainer.
My goal is to develop and perform at such a high level that I can advance to Knytkalaset.
Elin has a great number of national and international championship medals individually and in team (pony, junior- and YR) and competed Grand Prix already as a junior rider. She now runs her own training- and competition stable and her aims is to competed for the Swedish senior naitonal team.
